Doh!
Well, I just get one fixed, and now the other
pedal support snaps!
Only this time, I can't just bolt the
pedal in, even though it's o.k.
the threads in the crank are badly
stripped, so I have to see if there
is enough meat in the crank in order
to tap a threaded hole for the next
size up standard bolt......
Fooey.
