Well, just like we thought, snow of this quantity means work is shut down, which is a good thing considering how hideous the drivers are here when the snow falls! However, it means a day or two of rest, and paper writing. I can also continue on writing stories, emailing friends (mostly in Japanese) studying Japanese, and just breathing.
